Job Description

True Residential – A luxury refrigeration brand with commercial DNA is seeking a full-time showroom specialist at the True Residential Design Center in the Architects & Designers Building in NYC. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day showroom support while also having the opportunity to work closely with management and sales/marketing teams to create a World Class experience with the True Residential brand.

Responsibilities
Support opening/closing of showroom in conjunction with showroom
Greet and attend to guests and provide key product information to educate homeowners and trade on the unique features and benefits of True Residential.
Develop an understanding of True products and have the ability to present to different audience types, including future training for dealer sales people and trade members.
Assist consumers and/or trade professionals with answering questions and supplying information for their project, as requested.
Work with showroom manager to plan and execute showroom events, including list development, vendor coordination, budget tracking and overall support.
Maintain shared calendar for appointments and coordinate with showroom manager or sales territory managers.
Work with showroom manager and marketing team to support the overall look and brand experience in the Showroom, including product staging as well as sample and literature
Collaborate with marketing team to input, track and manage showroom leads in Salesforce in a consistent and detailed manner.
Assist the local market representatives in sales support efforts within the architect and design community as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred.
Two or more years of experience in a retail or showroom environment required.
Experience in commercial/residential interior design industry or luxury sales a plus.
Hospitality experience a plus.
Microsoft Office programs, Salesforce or similar CRM, Adobe Suite considered a plus.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Detail and task oriented.
Professional and tailored dress code to reflect our premium brand.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.
Potential for working evenings for some events.
